Here we go, I will update with the times as they are released, BUT, here is the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule.... I figured for this year the only thing that made any sense for the 1st post was the most famous tweet this year. This of course is the famous tweet from Brad Keselowski during the red flag during the Daytona 500 2/16/2013-- Sprint Unlimited --8 p.m.-- Daytona International Speedway-- Non-points-- Last years winner-- Kyle Busch (T.V. Ideas for next year

I have been trying to figure out ways to post more on here; and I don't mean just like "Hi I'm still here" posts so I was thinking I would take my love for NASCAR, my knowledge of the sports history, and this seasons schedule(hopefully with some interesting twists and turns) and do some(hopefully)interesting posts. So the plan right now is shortly after the first of the year I will have a post with the entire NASCAR Cup schedule which will include the date, track, whether it is a points race or not, the defending winner, and(when possible) the race name. Then, before each race I plan on a "history post" where I will pull a race from the NASCAR archives either on the date, or at the track. After the race I will do a recap post, where I will talk about the race, with highlights on the winner, whoever ran good but didn't get the win, and possibly the driver who didn't perform to their capabilities. That's what the plans for next year are; your feedb

In case you were curious

In case anyone who reads my Twitter or facebook is curious what is wrong with my wrist I'll let you know. In April of 2010, on a Friday, I was rollerskating and fell with my left hand stretched out, that resulted in my elbow and shoulder getting "jammed" and I thought that is all that had happened to my wrist, the following Monday I had a Dr's appointment so I brought up the fact that I had fallen and the Dr decided to take some X-rays and make sure nothing was broken; it was determined then that I had not broken my wrist but just sprained it, the treatment method was to take anti-inflammatory medicine and wear a brace on my arm for 6 weeks. After the 6 weeks my wrist was still bothering me so my primary care doctor referred me to an orthopedic doctor. The orthopedic doctor took another set of X-rays and said that he showed no broken bones and that I should try physical therapy. I went through a 6 week course of physical therapy designed for the hand and wrist, the

Places I want to see

First of all big thanks to @OneMenz (Joe Menzer) who gave me the idea with a conversation he was having with someone on Twitter. The list that I'm gonna put on the this post is not EVERY place I want to see put the ones that I would REALLY REALLY like to see before I die.  The Grand Ole Opry(won't really matter who is singing)  Hawaii  Italy  France  Some of the countries my family came from(There are so many that I can't remember them all)  Washington D.C  The Golden Gate Bridge(I'm a sucker for landmarks)  The Grand Canyon  Feel free to add anything you think would be cool for me to see either when I'm at one of these sights or on the way. :)

Finally & Forever

I just finished what is supposed to be the final book in the Katie Weldon Series, which follows the Christy Miller, Seria Jensen, and Todd and Christy series', and the only thing I didn't really like about the book was the ending which seemed, to me at least, to be a hanging ending but other than the ending the book did wrap up a lot of the loose ends from the one before this. That's all for now, more to come as a read more books and see more stuff!

Books I'm reading this summer

OK I've been reading since I was four years old and I've been reading pretty much anything I could get my hands on, mostly Christian fiction and some bio and racing books. This summer I will be reading what is supposed to be the final book in the Katie Weldon series called Finally and Forever I plan to read Darrell Waltrip's book Sundays Will Never Be The Same and I will probably re-read Driver #8 and Jade Gurss' book In The Red . This list is a living list and I will probably update with new books or re-reads on a semi regular basis and give reviews on the books as well.

Just a Thought

While watching something on Speed, I think, earlier this week there was a clip of the #2 Miller car and the #3 Goodwrench car and my brother, who is only 12 years old, asked me "Has Kaze(he meant Keze, which is what I call Keseloski sometimes) had ever raced Dale Earnhardt Sr.?" at first I said "who?" and I as soon as I figured out who he was talking about I told him no the Keze had never raced against Dale Sr. his next question was "Then who was in the #2?" and after I told him it was Rusty Wallace I got to thinking to the cars really look THAT different than they used to? I mean sure the cars themselves look different than they did when Rusty and Dale Sr. were driving but the paint schemes and numbers don't really look that different if you disagree then let me know

11 days!!!!!!

In eleven days the NASCAR season will officially begin and I will be one of the 150k there to watch the race. How many different ways are there to say excited? Well I'm not sure but I think I fall under most of them. Anyway in my last post promised more info on how I got my tickets for free and my pics to win the race, so here goes ; tickets first, Toyota is, for the first time ever, going to have the pace car in the race, so to celebrate this they gave away (I think) 500 sets of tickets to the Daytona 500 and I won one of the sets of tickets. Now for my picks on who will win the race (not scientific in anyway please to not blame me if you make a bet based on my predictions and lose) I think it may finally be Dale Earnhardt JR 's turn to do something his father didn't do, and that would be become a two time winner of the Daytona 500 and if Dale JR does win the Daytona 500 he would be the driver the bring Rick Hendrick his 200th cup win as an owner, as well as break a losing

Really Cool, Really Big News

Pictured here is one of my two tickets to THE DAYTONA 500 . The coolest part about the tickets is that I got them for free!!! I won a contest put on by Toyota Racing, so I get to go to the 54th annual Daytona 500 for free! My picks for who will win will come in a later post, but for now I just wanted to share one of the coolest things to happen to me
